Born in Amppipal, Gorkha, Nepal, Dr. Bhola Kumar Shrestha is a distinguished agricultural expert with academic qualifications including I. Sc. Ag., B.Sc. Ag., M.A., and a PhD in Coffee.

With more than 30 years of professional experience in organic agriculture and coffee development, he has collaborated extensively with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and led major coffee promotion and development projects across Nepal for over a decade.

His expertise includes coffee production technologies, plantation development, nursery establishment, organic farming systems, organic certification, and sustainable coffee development practices.

As a certified Organic Inspector and practicing coffee farmer, he brings valuable field-based insights into training, advisory, and academic roles.

At Nepal Coffee Academy, he contributes to strengthening organic coffee farming knowledge, improving plantation standards, and fostering sustainable coffee systems across Nepal.
