Nepal Coffee Academy (NCA), formerly known as National Coffee Academy, is Nepal’s nationally and internationally recognized center for specialty coffee education and quality development.
Based in Koteswor, Kathmandu, we serve as a professional hub for farmers, baristas, roasters, producers, exporters, and coffee entrepreneurs.
Through technical education, professional training, and inclusive vocational development, we strengthen Nepal’s coffee industry while promoting a disability-inclusive coffee value chain.

NCA delivers internationally aligned programs accredited by the
Specialty Coffee Association (SCA),
Coffee Quality Institute (CQI), and
Specialty Coffee Institute (SCI).
We are also accredited by the
Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT)
for Barista Training (Patra Sankhya: 5-1-082/083, Cha. No. 1715).
This national and international alignment positions NCA as a professional reference point for coffee education and quality standards in Nepal — and an emerging center in South Asia.
Our NCA Coffee Quality & Analysis Laboratory provides standardized cupping, sensory evaluation, and professional quality assessment services.
In addition, NCA delivers specialized coffee consultation services for existing and potential producers seeking guidance in farm development, processing improvement, quality enhancement, and market readiness.
